Mike Scharf is the Founder and Head Trainer of MS Soccer. Mike created MS Soccer in order to provide individualized and small group training to players who are looking to take their game to the next level. 

Mike, a current professional player, brings years of playing experience and applies his knowledge of the game to each and every session. Mike played High School Varsity soccer at Lafayette High School. He split his collegiate career between Rhodes College (NCAA D3), Maryville University (NCAA D2), and Missouri S&T (NCAA D2). With Missouri S&T Mike helped the team to an all-time best school record and a National Rank of 16th while finishing runner-up in the GLVC Conference.

Mike also spent time playing in the USL-PDL for the SW Florida Adrenaline and in the NPSL for Kitsap Pumas where he helped the team to a NW Division Championship and a Western Conference Semi-final and served as team captain as well. Afterwards, he signed a contract with Nördvarmlands FF in the Swedish 2nd Division. He spent time with STL FC and Seattle Sounders 2 in the USL and has signed professionally in the MASL with the Cedar Rapids Rampage, Tacoma Stars, Memphis Americans and the St. Louis Ambush with who he currently plays.

Mike brings coaching experience from all over the country as well. Mike has years of experience training players from age 2-20 years of age in private and group settings. Mike directed and ran the summer camps for the Kitsap Pumas and St. Louis Ambush. Mike has also helped coach teams with Lou Fusz SC, Norco SC, Fighting Irish SC, and Eagle Claw SC in Seattle, Washington.
